About the Opportunity
We are proud to be partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking compliance and fire safety organisation in Rochester, Kent, to recruit a Head of Administration.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced operations or administration professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams and driving service excellence.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Directors, the Head of Administration will take ownership of the day-to-day management of the organisation’s support functions. You will lead both office-based and remote team members, ensuring seamless service delivery, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across administrative processes.
This role will also play a key part in supporting wider business growth, contributing to strategic initiatives and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a multi-location administrative support team
- Oversee workflow management and allocate resources effectively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management activities
- Monitor KPIs and ensure consistently high standards of client service delivery
About You
We are looking for a proactive and confident leader with a collaborative approach and a strong track record in managing teams within a compliance, fire safety, or similar regulated environment.
You’ll bring:
- Proven management experience within compliance, fire safety, or a related sector
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple workloads in a dynamic setting
- Experience driving operational improvements and leading change initiatives
