Are you an experienced Business Development Manager, Senior BDM or Key Account Manager with a background in pumps, rotating equipment or a technical engineering environment?

Do you want to take ownership of a specialist product division within a global business, working with major OEM customers and playing a key role in driving profitable growth across an established engineering business?

On offer is a senior commercial opportunity within a well-established engineering business, where you will take ownership of strategic customer relationships, develop existing accounts and identify new markets and commercial opportunities.

The business is experiencing strong growth across its pumps division and is looking for an experienced commercial professional to help develop this further.

This role would suit an experienced BDM, Senior Sales professional or Key Account Manager from a manufacturing, engineering, pumps or similar technical product environment who is confident operating with senior customers and wants significant commercial ownership.

The Role:

• Own and develop strategic OEM customer relationships
• Drive profitable growth across the pumps division
• Identify new customers, markets and opportunities
• Develop account and market growth strategies
• Lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations
• Manage sales pipelines and forecasts
• Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events

The Person:

• Senior BDM, Key Account Management or commercial experience within manufacturing or engineering
• Proven experience developing OEM or industrial customer relationships
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Ability to develop accounts and identify new business opportunities
• Confident dealing with senior stakeholders
• Pumps, rotating equipment or engine knowledge advantageous
