Head of Fund Operations

A highly regarded provider of fund administration is seeking an experienced Head of Fund Operations to lead and transform its growing international operations function.With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client service and a clear strategic vision for growth, the business is investing heavily in its fund administration platform, and this newly enhanced leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the future operating model, drive innovation and play a key role in scaling a business that is challenging traditional market providers.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will have overall responsibility for the team providing end-to-end delivery of fund administration services across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring operational excellence, robust controls, regulatory compliance and an outstanding client experience.

The OpportunityThis is a strategic and hands-on leadership position that combines operational oversight, change management, people leadership and commercial contribution.You will lead a multi-jurisdictional team, oversee critical fund operations processes and drive the transformation agenda through simplification, automation and the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.Working closely with senior leadership, you will contribute to business strategy, operational planning and long-term growth initiatives, helping to build a scalable platform capable of supporting continued expansion.

Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will be an accomplished fund operations leader with a strong blend of technical expertise, commercial awareness and transformational leadership capability.You will bring:

• Significant experience within fund administration, fund accounting, asset servicing or asset management environments.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of fund structures, fund accounting, financial reporting and investor servicing.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks including AIFMD, IFRS, FATCA and CRS..
• Demonstrable success delivering operational transformation, platform enhancement and systems implementation projects.
• Strong governance, risk management and regulatory expertise.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive and Board level.
• A commercial mindset combined with a commitment to operational excellence and client service.
