As we continue to grow, we are seeking an exceptional Head of People to join our Executive Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this strategic leadership role will shape our people strategy, organisational culture and workforce development, ensuring we continue to attract, develop and retain exceptional talent.

The Role
As Head of People, you will lead the organisation's people strategy, ensuring our workforce is engaged, motivated and equipped to deliver exceptional care and support.
Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you will oversee all aspects of Human Resources, organisational development, employee relations, talent acquisition, learning and development, performance management and workforce planning.
You will provide strategic leadership while ensuring the organisation remains compliant with employment legislation, regulatory requirements and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the organisation's People Strategy.
- Lead all HR, organisational development and workforce planning activities.
- Provide expert advice to the Executive Leadership Team on people, culture and organisational performance.
- Lead employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and retention initiatives.
- Oversee recruitment, talent management, succession planning and leadership development.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding responsibilities and regulatory standards.
- Use workforce data and people analytics to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation and positive organisational culture.
About You
You'll be an experienced senior HR leader with a proven track record of delivering strategic people initiatives within complex organisations.
You'll be confident influencing Executive Leaders, driving organisational change and creating high-performing, inclusive workplace cultures.
Experience within children's services, social care, healthcare or another regulated environment would be highly advantageous.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Chartered MCIPD or FCIPD qualification (or working towards).
- Significant senior HR leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
