Health & Safety Advisor

Location: Coventry 
Salary: £35,000–£45,000 DOE
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–4:30pm (37 hours) – 4-day working week

We're looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our clients manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role where you'll help maintain legal compliance, promote a positive safety culture and support continuous improvement across our site.

Key responsibilities:

• Carry out workplace inspections, audits and safety checks.
• Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation.
• Develop and review risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work.
• Investigate accidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions.
• Deliver Health & Safety inductions and support managers with safety briefings.
• Produce H&S reports and KPI data.
• Support fire safety activities and internal/external audits.

About you:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).
• TechIOSH (minimum) or working towards GradIOSH.
• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
• Good knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and ISO 45001.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Desirable: Fire Marshal and/or First Aid qualification.
