Health and Safety Manager

Are you a hands-on Health & Safety professional who enjoys being out on the factory floor rather than sat behind a desk?

We're recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing business in Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the site's Health & Safety function, work closely with senior leadership and help drive a positive safety culture across the business.

This isn't just a compliance role. We're looking for someone who can build relationships, challenge where needed, and help make Health & Safety part of everyday working life.

• Lead all Health & Safety activities across the manufacturing site.
• Ensure the business remains compliant with Health & Safety legislation.
• Carry out risk assessments and site inspections.
• Investigate accidents and near misses.
• Complete internal audits and ensure actions are followed through.
• Review and improve Health & Safety procedures.
• Deliver Health & Safety training and support employee development.
• Work closely with managers across all departments.
• Manage and support a Training Coordinator.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture throughout the business.

• Previous experience in a Health & Safety Manager role.
• Manufacturing experience is essential.
• Food manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous.
• NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
• Confident communicating with people at all levels.
• A proactive, hands-on approach.
• Someone who enjoys driving continuous improvement rather than simply maintaining standards.

• £45,000 - £50,000 salary.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• Permanent, full-time position.
