We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to lead and embed best practices across a dynamic, rapidly growing organisation. If you are a pragmatic and engaging safety professional with a proactive approach, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety strategy aligned with business growth and operational needs.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Lead incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented.
• Promote a safety-first culture through effective training, engagement, and communication.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to manage risks related to workplace transport, contractors, and lone working.

What You'll Bring:

• Relevant professional qualification such as NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent, with membership of IOSH preferred.
• Desirable experience working within the waste, heavy manufacturing or a related heavy industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, with practical experience in risk management and incident investigation.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
