Health And Safety Manager

URGENT: (CDM) Health & Safety Manager needed for an immediate start this coming Monday, 3rd August, in Hereford.

This is a fast-paced, 14-night straight contract role paying circa £450 per shift. It requires robust CDM experience and a background in heavy engineering.

The Role

• Location: Hereford
• Start Date: Monday 3rd August (Urgent)
• Duration: 14 straight nights (includes weekend working)
• Rate: Circa £450.00 per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Compliance: Oversee all aspects of Health, Safety, and Temporary Works under strict CDM regulations.
• Project Scope: Guide the heavy engineering team through complex machinery removal and production line installations.
• Site Supervision: Manage day-to-day operations involving a large workforce, heavy plant, cranes, and specialist equipment.
• Collaboration: Work directly with the Principal Contractor’s Project Management team and Safety Division to meet all compliance milestones.

Requirements

• CDM Expertise: Proven, strong experience managing Health and Safety under CDM regulations on busy sites.
• Sector Background: Background in factory fit-outs, heavy engineering, or industrial machinery installation.
• Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate is required.
• Card Scheme: CSCS Black Card is highly preferred.
• Availability: Ready for immediate night-shift work starting this Monday.
