We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our specialist team supporting a baby boy with complex healthcare needs in his family home in Bedford.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant who is passionate about delivering high-quality, child-centred care while making a meaningful difference to a family's everyday life. Working as part of a dedicated night team, you'll provide reassurance, comfort and specialist support, ensuring he remains safe, settled and well cared for throughout the night.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll help maintain his bedtime routine and provide nurturing, responsive care tailored to his individual needs. Alongside offering emotional reassurance and age-appropriate interaction, you'll support a range of clinical interventions including tracheostomy care, NG feeding, personal care and safe moving and handling. Full clinical training will be provided by our experienced in-house nursing team, giving you the confidence and skills needed to deliver exceptional care.

We're looking for someone who is calm, observant and compassionate, with the ability to respond confidently to changes in his condition while creating a safe, comforting environment. Every shift is an opportunity to build a trusting relationship with both our client and his family while helping them enjoy greater peace of mind.

What You'll Need

• Minimum 3 months' paid UK care experience
• A caring, patient and reliable approach
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to complete specialist clinical training
• Comfortable working in a home with dogs
• Right to work in the UK
