Male Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care | Part-Time Days | Nottingham | £16.00–£18.00 per Hour
Pay Rates:
- Weekdays: £16.00 per hour
- Sundays: £17.00 per hour
- Bank Holidays: £18.00 per hour
Part-Time Day Shifts:
- Monday: 9:00am–5:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am–5:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am–5:00pm

Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a proactive Male Healthcare Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a young man in his 20s with complex care needs in his own home in Nottingham.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting others to develop independence, build confidence, and achieve personal goals. You'll work closely with the individual, their support network, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care while helping him live an active and fulfilling life.
Your Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will:
- Support with personal care and daily living activities.
- Assist with rehabilitation exercises and therapy programmes.
- Encourage independence through meaningful activities and community involvement.
- Support communication using specialist communication technology.
- Provide support and prompts with eating and drinking where required.
- Assist with diary management, domestic tasks, and developing everyday life skills.
- Introduce and encourage new activities, hobbies, and interests.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
