Healthcare Assistant

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care to our clients to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants to work on one of our adult packages based in PE38, Norfolk. Our client is a 66 year old male who lives at home.

Shifts Available: Up to 3 x 13 Hour Day Shifts p/week - Flexible to cover Weekends

Working Hours: 08:00 - 21:00

Experience Required:

• Spinal Injuries (Adults)
• Autonomic Dysreflexia (Having an understanding of this is ESSENTIAL)

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care to service users in their own home
• Moving & Handling via a Hoist
• Medication Management
• Build rapport with family members and other staff members
• Making sure care plans are followed accordingly

Requirements for the role:

• A minimum of 1 Years recent UK experience in healthcare sector
• Good communication (clear spoken English)
• Must be a car driver
