Think Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a major international distribution centre project in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale industrial shed development, with approximately 40 weeks of work and the potential for the contract to be extended.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out regular site inspections and audits.
- Ensuring all works are compliant with current H&S legislation and company procedures.
- Producing reports and maintaining accurate H&S documentation.
- Conducting inductions and toolbox talks.
- Identifying and mitigating site risks.
- Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Working closely with the site team, subcontractors and client to promote a positive safety culture.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (essential).
- Previous experience as a Health & Safety Manager on large construction projects.
- Industrial / warehouse / distribution centre experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
