Heating Electrician – London and surrounding areas

We’re looking for experienced Heating Electricians to join a growing team working across London and surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for an electrician who enjoys fault finding, domestic installations and heating controls, and wants to develop their skills further across boilers, heat pumps, air conditioning and renewable technologies.

The Role

You’ll work alongside experienced heating and renewable engineers, carrying out electrical installations, testing, fault finding and system wiring across domestic properties.

Your work will include:

• Electrical installation, testing and maintenance

• Heating controls, thermostats, spurs and full system wiring

• S-Plan & Y-Plan wiring

• Fault finding and diagnostics

• Electrical connections for boilers, heat pumps and AC systems

• Supporting renewable energy installations, including solar PV

• Working to BS 7671 / 18th Edition standards

• Completing job documentation and maintaining high standards of workmanship

• Providing excellent customer service in customers' homes

What We're Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• C&G 2391 or EAL Initial Verification, or strong practical testing experience

• Solid domestic electrical installation experience

• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Experience with heating wiring and controls – desirable, but full training can be provided

• A professional and reliable approach

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Most importantly, you’ll need to be someone who takes pride in their work and understands how to communicate professionally with all types of customers, including elderly and vulnerable people.

All successful candidates will need to be willing to upgrade to the latest 18th Edition Amendment 4 requirements by 15 October 2026.
