A well-established and successful Truck and Trailer Rentals Company based in Basildon is looking for a HGV Class 1 driver to join the team. 

Responsibilities as HGV Class 1 Driver:
  • Assisting with daily deliveries and collections of vehicles and trailers to the surrounding areas.
  • Presenting vehicles and trailers for MOT.
  • Carrying out daily checks on shunters.
  • Keeping yard tidy and shunting in yard vehicles that are required for hire.
  • Getting vehicles ready for hire, valeting, and carrying out operational checks.
  • Delivering vehicles to other depots within the group.
  • Collecting new vehicles from body builders.
What we’re looking for in a HGV Class 1 Driver:
  • Must have a Full Driving Licence HGV Class 1, 
  • CPC and Digi card holder
  • A good knowledge of the area.
  • Flexibility is required
  • Overtime as and when required.
This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday, 07:00 – 17:00. In return, you will receive a salary of up to £42,000 per annum.
