Job Overview
We are recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for ongoing work based in Skelmersdale. This role involves trunking and general haulage work during morning, afternoon and night shifts, with both weekday and weekend availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Class 1 trunking, general haulage, or RDC runs (depending on shift).
- Operate the vehicle safely and professionally at all times.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure all loads are secure and paperwork is completed accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery times.
- Good attitude, reliability, and professionalism.
