About the Role
Prime Placers are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established client based in Thame. This is a great opportunity to join a reliable operation offering consistent work, competitive hourly rates and a friendly, supportive team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient delivery of goods to customer sites across the region
- Carrying out daily vehicle walkaround checks and reporting any defects
- Loading and unloading where required, ensuring loads are secure
- Completing all delivery paperwork and handheld/POD records accurately
- Following all company procedures, health and safety guidelines and driving regulations, including WTD and tachograph rules
- Providing a professional, courteous service to customers at all times
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on licence (no DR, IN or major offences)
- Minimum 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of tachograph and Working Time regulations
- Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
- Right to work in the UK
