Hgv Class 1 Driver

Here at Recon Recruitment we are looking for hardworking, dedicated and reliable HGV Class 1 drivers in Burton-on-trent, Derbyshire for an ongoing role that could lead to temp-tp-perm for the right candidate. 

Our client is a family ran company who have been in operation since the late 1800's and their attitude to customers and staff has always remaind the same. They are looking for people can help them continue this way and ensure the customer recieves an outstanding service.

Your role

• Will involve delivering metal and steel to warhouses across the country on flatbed trucks 
• Keeping all paperwork safe and in good condition to hand back in at the end of your shift. 
• Strapping and unstrapping your load. 
• Completing vehicle and safety checks.

You will need 

• Previous HGV Class 1 experience. 
• Experience strapping 
• Valid CPC and Tacho 
• Good Communication Skills
