HGV Class 1 Night Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the York area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team. 

Shifts: Sunday - Tuesday with potential to pick up additional shifts throughout the week. 

Start Times: 16:00pm - 20:00pm starts 

Pay Rate:

• £17.50 per hour PAYE (between 6am to 10pm)
• £18.25 per hour PAYE (between 10pm to 6am)

Location: York

Job Type: Ongoing 

The role:

• Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub. 

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
