Hgv Class 1 Tramper in Shirley, Derbyshire

Recon recruitment are recuiting for a Class 1 driver for ongoing tramping work.This is for a general haulage company based out of Ashbourne.

Job Details:

• Ongoing work – Monday to Friday
• Usual start times between 0400 - 0600
• Tramping – nights out required
• Delivering across the UK

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
• Manage the loading and unloading of curtainsider goods, securing loads to prevent damage during transit.
• Deliver goods to designated locations, maintaining accurate delivery records and schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• CPC & Digi Card
• Reliable & professional attitude
• Great communication essential
• Previous tramping experience (perferred)
