HGV Class 2 Driver in Scunthorpe

You will be delivering ambient or frozen goods to convenience stores and distribution centres. Deliveries will involve unloading using an electric pump truck, although manual handling is minimal.
What shifts are available?
- Friday to Monday
- Start times between 04:00 – 06:00
- Occasional Tuesday shifts available for drivers looking for additional work
- Regular, ongoing work
How much will I be paid?
- Weekdays : £16.59 per hour
- Saturday & Sunday: £18.66 per hour
- Overtime: £22.06 per hour after 42 hours worked
What will I be doing?
- Completing Class 2 deliveries to convenience stores and distribution centres
- Delivering ambient and frozen goods
- Unloading deliveries using an electric pump truck
- Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Completing relevant delivery paperwork
- Providing a professional service when dealing with customers
- Following all driving hours, Working Time Directive and company procedures
What do I need?
- A valid Category C / HGV Class 2 licence, held for at least 3 months
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 points on your driving licence
- No DR10, CD10 or IN10 endorsements
- You must be aged 21 or over
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and professional approach to work
