HGV Class 2 Driver – Barnsley

Ad Hock and part time shifts available with immidiate start!

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to support operations for Company Shop Group based in Barnsley (S75 3DH) on an adhoc agency basis.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work, with shifts available throughout the week including weekends.

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday (4:00am – 1:00pm): £17.25 per hour
• Monday to Friday (before 4:00am & after 1:00pm): £19.25 per hour
• Saturday: £20.25 per hour
• Sunday: £23.25 per hour

Shift Patterns

• Adhoc agency work
• Shifts available Monday to Sunday
• Start times ranging from 03:00am to 10:30pm
• Flexible working patterns available

Duties Include

• Delivering goods safely and efficiently
• Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and tachograph regulations
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Supporting depot operations when required

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
• Minimum 2 years experience as Class 2 Driver
• Clean licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
• Previous driving experience preferred
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
