About the Role:
As an HGV Refuse Collection Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient waste collection services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety standards.
  • Collecting refuse and recycling materials from residential and commercial properties, ensuring all routes are completed promptly.
  • Working collaboratively with a dedicated team to maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting routine checks and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working order.
  • Engaging positively with residents and addressing any queries or concerns in a professional manner.

Who is the Ideal Candidate?
Our client is looking for individuals who are:

  • Qualified: Hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence (C) and a CPC qualification.
  • Experienced: Have previous experience in refuse collection or similar driving roles, with a solid understanding of road safety and vehicle operation.
