We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join a large and well-established commercial vehicle operation based in the Heathrow area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who is looking for strong earning potential, flexible shift options and long-term career development within a modern workshop environment. The business is continuing to grow and is investing heavily in its people, equipment and technical training programmes.

The role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high professional standard.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
• Complete inspections, safety checks and compliance work
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure roadworthiness standards are met
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify complex issues
• Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately
• Work closely with the wider workshop and parts teams

What we’re looking for

• Level 3 qualification in HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential)
• Previous experience working on commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A professional, reliable and safety-focused approach

Shift patterns available

• Early shifts
• Late shifts
• Rotating shifts
• Additional patterns may be available depending on preference and experience
