Join Our Team as a Mobile HGV Technician!
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Mobile HGV Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys variety, independence, and delivering first-class service to customers across the region.
As a Mobile HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out maintenance, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of heavy goods vehicles.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on HGVs
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Performing inspections and safety checks in line with DVSA standards
- Attending breakdowns and providing roadside assistance when required
- Completing all job documentation accurately and efficiently
- Delivering excellent customer service while working independently in the field
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Relevant qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Positive attitude and commitment to high standards of workmanship
