We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of HGV Technician in Ferndown. Duties of a HGV Technician:
  • Servicing and maintaining a fleet of HGVs, including motorhomes
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
  • Completing work within specified time frames and to high standards
  • Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs 
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards
  • Assisting with workshop tasks to ensure smooth operational flow
  • Supporting team members with technical and operational issues
Requirements of a HGV Technician:
  • Qualified mechanic with proven experience in servicing HGVs
  • Relevant industry certifications or qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Reliable and committed to delivering high-quality work
  • HGV licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach
