# HGV Class 2 Waste Drivers – Kidderminster
Location: Kidderminster
Contract: Temporary (Initial 3-Month Contract)
Hours: Full Time – 37 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Waste Drivers to join our client's Environmental Services team in Kidderminster on an initial 3-month temporary contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver looking to join a dedicated team delivering essential waste collection services across the local area.
## Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) refuse collection vehicle.
- Drive designated collection routes in accordance with schedules.
- Work closely with the waste collection crew to complete daily rounds efficiently.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure compliance with all road traffic legislation and health and safety procedures.
- Deliver a professional and courteous service to residents and businesses.
## Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. Valid Driver CPC qualification. Digital Tachograph Card. Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and in all weather conditions. Previous experience within waste or refuse collection is desirable but not essential.
