High Level Teaching Assistant in Romford

Protocol Education are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Romford.

The successful candidate will be confident working across different year groups, supporting pupils and delivering engaging lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

The Role:

• Work across different year groups within a primary setting
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and cover classes when required
• Support pupils with their learning and development
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and positively
• Work closely with teachers and school staff
• Provide additional support to pupils where needed
• Help create a positive and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience
• Previous experience working within a primary school
• Confident supporting and teaching different year groups
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic
• Available to work full-time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
