We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a welcoming primary school in LS5, Leeds. The Role

As an HLTA, you will:

  • Deliver planned lessons across a range of year groups in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs, ensuring every child can achieve their potential.
  • Work closely with teachers to plan and implement engaging learning activities.
  • Provide targeted interventions to support pupil progress.
  • Contribute positively to the school's inclusive and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working within a primary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
