Higher Level Teaching Assistant | EYFS-Year 6 | Monday-Friday | Long-Term Opportunity

Reeson Education is working with a primary school seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HLTA who is comfortable working across the full primary age range, from EYFS through to Year 6. The school is looking for someone with strong behaviour management skills, a confident classroom presence and the ability to step into different year groups and make an immediate impact.

As an Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be required to:

• Provide classroom cover and deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS to Year 6.

• Support teaching and learning across different year groups as required.

• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently.

• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and pupil needs.

• Maintain a positive, structured and engaging learning environment.

• Work closely with teachers and senior leaders to support pupil progress.

• Provide additional support to pupils who may require further guidance.

The school is looking for an Higher Level Teaching Assistant who:

• Has previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in a primary school.

• Is confident delivering lessons and managing a classroom independently.

• Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills.

• Can adapt to working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

• Is proactive, resilient and able to use their initiative.

• Can hit the ground running and quickly establish themselves within the school.

• Holds HLTA status or has equivalent relevant experience.

• A long-term HLTA position through Reeson Education.

• Consistent Monday-Friday working hours.

• The opportunity to work across the entire primary age range.
