Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Pay: £115-£135 per day

Remedy Education are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school based in Enfield.

We are looking for a confident and proactive HLTA who is comfortable supporting pupils across the classroom, delivering interventions and leading lessons when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with their learning across the curriculum
• Leading small group and 1:1 interventions
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and covering classes when required
• Supporting pupils who may need additional help with their learning
• Helping manage behaviour and maintain a positive classroom environment
• Working closely with teachers to monitor pupil progress
• Preparing resources and supporting lesson delivery

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant
• HLTA qualification/status is highly desirable
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confident leading groups and covering lessons
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Reliable, proactive and enthusiastic about supporting pupils
