Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Northampton

Simply Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Northampton to recruit a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a permanent position.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated HLTA to join a supportive school where you'll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the primary phase.

The Role:

• Full-time, permanent HLTA position
• Deliver lessons and cover classes when required
• Support teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to raise attainment
• Support teachers with planning, preparation and assessment
• Promote a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience
• Experience working within a primary school setting
• Good understanding of the primary curriculum
• Confident leading whole-class learning when required
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Positive, flexible and proactive approach
