Teach Now is recruiting a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Ealing. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 while making a real impact on pupils academic and personal development.

The Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher absence and PPA cover.
• Lead small-group and 1:1 interventions in literacy, numeracy and other curriculum areas.
• Support pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech & language needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers, SEN staff and senior leaders to raise pupil achievement.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

Role Requirements

To be successful in this Higher Level Teaching Assistant role, you will have:

• Experience working as a HLTA or an experienced Teaching Assistant within a UK Primary School.
• Confidence leading whole-class learning across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
• Experience supporting children with SEND and delivering targeted interventions.
• Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.
• A proactive, adaptable approach with a genuine passion for education.
• A HLTA qualification is desirable, although applicants with significant classroom experience will also be considered.
