Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for highways and construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with PCR2015 and PA23 regulations in all procurement activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide expert advice on procurement processes.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts to achieve best value outcomes for the organisation.
- Monitor procurement performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Utilise NEC & JCT Contract forms
- Support the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives through efficient procurement practices.
Profile
A successful Highways & Construction Procurement Business Partner should have:
- Professional qualification in CIPS or equivalent procurement accreditation.
- Thorough knowledge of PCR2015 and PA23 regulations.
- Proven expertise in procurement within the public sector, particularly in highways and construction.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using NEC and JCT Contracts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
