History Teacher

Longsight | September Start | £170 - £250 per day

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a supportive secondary school? We are working with a well-established school in Longsight seeking an enthusiastic History specialist to join their team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students with a love of history, encouraging them to explore the past while developing critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.

• Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge students.

• Assess, monitor, and support student progress to help all learners achieve their potential.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and academic success.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school and the Humanities department.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching History within a UK secondary school.

• Strong classroom management skills and excellent subject knowledge.

• A passion for education and a commitment to raising student attainment.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

• Competitive daily pay of £170 - £250, depending on experience and qualifications.
