Salary: £105 - £125 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Cwmbran that is looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA. The school has a caring ethos centred around encouraging and nurturing one another, creating a positive learning environment where both pupils and staff are supported to succeed.

The school is looking to recruit a full-time HLTA on a long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful HLTA will work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning across the school, delivering planned interventions, covering classes when required and helping pupils achieve their full potential through engaging and inclusive learning experiences.

The successful HLTA will have:

• HLTA qualification or relevant classroom support experience
• Proven UK classroom experience within a Primary School
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to support teaching and learning across a range of year groups
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, proactive and adaptable attitude
