Position: Patient Movement Porter
Type: Full Time
Hours: Working 5 out of 7 days between 9 AM - 5pm and 11 - 7 PM, including weekends
Location: On-site (No parking available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient portering services with a focus on patient care.
• Escort patients to and from departments and wards, ensuring a safe and respectful experience.
• Manage the movement of essential items like medical records, equipment, and mail.
• Assist nursing staff in transferring patients to the mortuary with dignity and care.
• Adhere to data protection guidelines while handling sensitive information.

What We're Looking For:

• Communication Skills: You must be able to engage empathetically with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
• Flexibility: This role requires adaptability in both working hours and tasks.
• Physical Fitness: Expect lots of walking-be prepared to stay active throughout your shifts!
• Self-Management: You should be able to prioritise tasks effectively and work independently.
• Empathy and Customer Care Training: A background in customer care will help you excel in this role.
