Acorn by Synergie is recruiting reliable and hardworking Housekeepers to help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout a hotel in Wadebridge.

The successful candidates will help ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable and ready for guests, while working as part of a busy housekeeping team.

• 9am-4pm working hours.

• Varied housekeeping and cleaning responsibilities.

• Clean and maintain guest bedrooms, bathrooms and allocated hotel areas to the required standard.
• Change bed linen, towels and other room amenities as required.
• Replenish toiletries and guest supplies.
• Vacuum, mop, dust and clean surfaces and fixtures thoroughly.
• Inspect rooms and report maintenance issues, damages or missing items to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of designated public areas when required.
• Follow hotel cleaning procedures, health and safety requirements and hygiene standards.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Handle guest belongings and hotel property with care and professionalism.
• Work efficiently as part of the housekeeping team to meet daily room targets.

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and good standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, hardworking and physically fit.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Desirable Experience

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience.
• Experience working in a busy hotel or resort environment.
• Knowledge of professional cleaning procedures and standards.
