Peace Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Administrator to join a small, friendly Housing Association based in East Glasgow on a temporary contract for 3–6 months.

This is a fully office-based role and is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator to support a busy housing team.

Please note: Previous experience working within the social housing sector is essential. Applications from candidates without social housing experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to the Housing Team
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with tenant enquiries
  • Managing emails and responding to customer queries
  • Maintaining accurate housing records and databases
  • Preparing letters, reports and other documentation
  • Processing housing applications and related paperwork
  • Scheduling appointments and supporting Housing Officers
  • General office administration, including filing, scanning and data entry

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Essential: Previous administration experience within a Housing Association, Local Authority Housing Team or other social housing organisation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Good organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage a varied workload and work both independently and as part of a team
