Description

• The role will involve overseeing contractor performance, monitoring progress on site, carrying out quality checks and inspections, managing handovers, maintaining accurate project records and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, including CDM regulations. The Contracts Manager will liaise with contractors, tenants, internal teams and other stakeholders to resolve issues promptly, maintain effective communication throughout the tenant journey and support high levels of customer care.

Profile

• The successful candidate should have strong housing or property services experience, with practical knowledge of contract management, ,planned works delivery, health and safety, technical specifications, budget control and performance reporting. They should be educated to HND level or equivalent in a relevant technical/building discipline, or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience. A relevant professional qualification or membership, such as RICS, RIAS or CIOB, would be desirable. Candidates should also be confident managing contractors, analysing technical information, maintaining documentation, using Microsoft Office/Teams and working collaboratively to deliver value for money and positive outcomes for tenants.
