Housing Officer

We're delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a respected local authority in Devon for an experienced Housing Officer to join their dedicated Housing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied and rewarding role, working closely with council tenants and residents in temporary accommodation to deliver a proactive, customer-focused housing management service. You'll manage a diverse caseload, carry out regular property and neighbourhood inspections, tackle anti-social behaviour, resolve tenancy issues, and build strong relationships with residents to help them sustain successful tenancies. You'll also support resident engagement and work collaboratively with internal teams and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

We're looking for someone with previous housing management or tenancy experience, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to make fair, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. You'll be highly organised, customer-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality public services.
