Anti-Social Behaviour Officer

We are looking for an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join a housing team on a temporary basis, supporting customers and communities across Oxfordshire.

The role will focus on managing complex and ingrained anti-social behaviour, working proactively with customers, internal teams and external partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes and tenancy success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of complex anti-social behaviour cases from investigation through to resolution and enforcement where necessary.
  • Work closely with customers, internal teams, partner agencies, solicitors and other stakeholders to address ASB effectively.
  • Prepare and manage legal cases, including notices, court papers and witness statements.
  • Attend and represent the organisation at court when required.
  • Address tenancy and lease breaches, non-access, fraud and other tenancy-related issues.
  • Aim to resolve cases through early intervention and collaborative solutions, using legal enforcement as a last resort.
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality customer and case management records.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and local stakeholders while delivering a professional, customer-focused service.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to address complex customer needs and improve outcomes within local communities.
  • Ensure all casework complies with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and organisational policies.

About You

You will have:

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of ASB case management, including complex and entrenched cases.
  • Experience of legal work and court processes, including preparing notices, court papers and witness statements.
  • Experience working with external agencies, solicitors and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong track record of delivering excellent customer service and achieving positive customer outcomes.
  • Knowledge of tenancy, lease and enforcement processes.
  • The ability to manage a busy caseload, meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • A professional and collaborative approach, with the ability to build trust with customers and partner organisations.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car, as the role involves extensive travel across Oxfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ASB professional looking for a short-term contract with the potential to extend.
