Morva Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an organised and proactive HR Administrator on behalf of a growing environmental business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administration or coordination experience who is looking to build a career within Human Resources or someone who is already working in HR looking for a new opportunity. Working as part of a supportive HR team, you'll play a key role in delivering a professional and efficient HR service while developing your knowledge through a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship if desired. 

The Role

Supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department, you'll ensure the smooth delivery of HR administration across the employee lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the onboarding process for new employees.

  • Assisting with the administration of Learning & Development programmes.

  • Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, personnel files and HR databases.

  • Monitoring the HR inbox, responding to queries where possible and escalating where appropriate.

  • Supporting the implementation of new HR systems, including data migration and bulk uploads.

  • Producing draft monthly HR reports, including employee turnover, retention and absence reporting.

  • Supporting employee engagement initiatives and helping to promote a positive workplace culture.

  • Ensuring HR records remain compliant with GDPR and company policies.

  • Providing general HR administrative support across the wider team.

  • Deputising for HR colleagues where required.

  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by the HR Manager.

  • Occasional travel to other UK sites may be required.

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working with people and has a proactive approach to supporting a busy team.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role (essential).

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues.

  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, with previous HR systems experience beneficial but not essential.

A satisfactory DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
