Morva Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an organised and proactive HR Administrator on behalf of a growing environmental business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administration or coordination experience who is looking to build a career within Human Resources or someone who is already working in HR looking for a new opportunity. Working as part of a supportive HR team, you'll play a key role in delivering a professional and efficient HR service while developing your knowledge through a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship if desired.
The Role
Supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department, you'll ensure the smooth delivery of HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the onboarding process for new employees.

Assisting with the administration of Learning & Development programmes.

Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, personnel files and HR databases.

Monitoring the HR inbox, responding to queries where possible and escalating where appropriate.

Supporting the implementation of new HR systems, including data migration and bulk uploads.

Producing draft monthly HR reports, including employee turnover, retention and absence reporting.

Supporting employee engagement initiatives and helping to promote a positive workplace culture.

Ensuring HR records remain compliant with GDPR and company policies.

Providing general HR administrative support across the wider team.

Deputising for HR colleagues where required.

Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by the HR Manager.

Occasional travel to other UK sites may be required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working with people and has a proactive approach to supporting a busy team.
You'll ideally have:

Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role (essential).

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues.

A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Confidence using Microsoft Office, with previous HR systems experience beneficial but not essential.
A satisfactory DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
