£12.71 per hour + holiday pay

Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation in Telford in the search for a HR Administrator to join their busy and supportive HR team. This role will play a key part in delivering efficient HR administration across the employee lifecycle, ensuring colleagues and managers receive a high level of support. It presents an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in HR, as well as individuals wishing to further develop their existing HR knowledge and experience

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Support the delivery of day-to-day HR administration across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Assist with onboarding, internal moves and employee exits, ensuring a smooth experience for all employees.
  • Administer family leave and other employee absence-related processes in line with company policies.
  • Process employee record updates, including contractual and personal detail changes.
  • Respond to HR-related enquiries from employees and managers, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Identify solutions to more complex or unusual HR queries and collaborate with the wider team to share knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records and case notes within HR systems to support compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure employee data and documentation are managed securely and in accordance with GDPR and company standards.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and available support resources.
  • Communicate professionally with stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and service standards are consistently met.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a background in administration and be passionate about providing a high-quality service to both colleagues and customers. Previous exposure to HR activities would be an advantage, but we are equally keen to hear from candidates looking to take their first step into a HR career.

You will be confident managing a varied workload, prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment and meeting agreed deadlines. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and strong organisational skills are essential. In return, full training and ongoing support will be provided.
