This is an opportunity to join a busy HR team, supporting day-to-day administration across the employee lifecycle and helping provide a responsive, organised service to colleagues across the UK and US.

The role

Based in Seaham with hybrid working, you will help keep employee records accurate, coordinate starters and leavers, and support employees and managers with everyday HR queries. You will work closely with the wider HR team, with occasional travel to the Hartlepool and Billingham sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing contracts, letters and other employee correspondence.

  • Coordinating onboarding activities and inductions, ensuring new starters have the information and support they need.

  • Supporting queries relating to ActInTime, including attendance, working hours and holiday records.

  • Collating employee information and changes to support payroll processing.

  • Helping maintain HR reports, trackers and records.

  • Supporting the wider HR team with projects and improvements to administrative processes.

  • Handling employee information sensitively and confidentially.

You will ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in HR administration or a similar role involving confidential employee information.

  • Strong administrative skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and HR systems.

  • Experience with HiBob or time and attendance systems would be beneficial.

  • Clear communication skills and a helpful, professional approach to employee queries.

  • The ability to take ownership of tasks, follow up on outstanding information and maintain accurate records.

  • Flexibility to travel occasionally between Seaham, Hartlepool and Billingham.
