We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Property Administrator on a contract basis working hybrid. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate property and asset management information, ensuring that records relating to property condition, compliance, repairs and maintenance are consistently updated and accurately recorded.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and IT skills who is looking to develop their career within the property and housing sector. Previous experience within property, housing, asset management or maintenance would be advantageous but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate asset management and property records across relevant databases and systems.
  • Input, update and maintain information relating to property compliance, repairs, maintenance and asset condition.
  • Monitor records and identify missing, incomplete or inaccurate information.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, spreadsheets and asset management data.
  • Maintain databases and ensure information is recorded consistently and in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • Support the Asset Management and Property teams with administrative tasks and data management.
  • Collate information from contractors, surveyors and internal teams and ensure records are updated accordingly.
  • Assist with monitoring compliance and planned maintenance information.
  • Produce and maintain Excel spreadsheets and management information.
  • Assist with data quality checks and identify discrepancies requiring further investigation.
  • Maintain electronic filing systems and ensure property documentation is appropriately recorded.
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider property and asset management function.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, methodical and able to work independently. You will have excellent attention to detail and take pride in maintaining accurate records and information.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably within property, housing, facilities management or asset management.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering and managing data.
  • Experience using databases or property management systems.
  • Strong IT and computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
  • A methodical approach to data entry and record keeping.
  • The ability to identify errors, discrepancies and missing information.
  • A professional and proactive approach to working with colleagues and external contractors.
