Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing business in the recruitment of a HR Advisor. Based in Lanarkshire, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a successful organisation during an exciting period of growth and development.
This position will suit a proactive and commercially minded HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and partnering with managers across all areas of the business. You'll play a key role in delivering both strategic and operational HR support, helping to drive engagement, performance and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Forming part of a small HR team you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, supporting a wide range of HR activities. You'll have responsibility for managing complex employee relations matters, supporting engagement initiatives, analysing HR data and contributing to the delivery of the wider people strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and guidance to managers across the business.
- Manage a wide range of employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, capability, investigations and flexible working requests.
- Coach and support managers to build confidence in handling people matters.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, internal policies and HR best practice.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives.
- Analyse HR data and metrics, producing reports on absence, turnover, recruitment and employee relations trends.
- Contribute to HR projects, organisational change initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure GDPR compliance.
- Assist with training compliance and wider business processes as required.
About You
- CIPD Level 5 qualified, or working towards qualification.
- Proven experience in a HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience managing complex employee relations cases from start to finish.
- Ability to coach, influence and build credible relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience using HR metrics and data to support decision-making.
- Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Professional, confidential and solution-focused approach.
Desirable
- Experience supporting organisational change initiatives.
- Previous involvement in employee engagement and wellbeing programmes.
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or fast-paced operational environment.
