Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Adviser to join a rapidly growing automotive business with great benefits, including 10% employer pension contribution and an early finish every Friday.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate HR records, systems and employee documentation.
  • Support onboarding, contracts, inductions and probation reviews.
  • Provide support with employee relations, investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Support HR reporting, communications and employee engagement initiatives.

Recruitment

  • Support end-to-end recruitment across the business.
  • Advertise vacancies, coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication.
  • Ensure all pre-employment and new starter documentation is completed.
  • Help attract and retain high-quality talent as the business continues to grow.

Payroll & Benefits

  • Support the weekly payroll process and timesheet submissions.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll and benefits information.
  • Liaise with Finance and payroll providers to resolve queries.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee payroll queries.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate mandatory and role-specific training.
  • Maintain accurate training and compliance records.
  • Support employee development and performance review processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve training and development across the business

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in an HR Adviser, HR Officer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, commercially minded and confident working across all levels of a business.
  • Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Previous recruitment and employee relations experience.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards one is desirable.
  • Payroll experience would be advantageous.
