HR Advisor- 12 month FTC in Bicester, Oxfordshire

As an HR Advisor, you'll handle a range of HR tasks to support the smooth operation of the human resources function. From advising on policies to assisting with employee relations, your role will ensure the business runs effectively.

This is a newly created role to join an established People team during a busy transition period.

Description

The HR Advisor will:

• Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
• Support employee relations, including handling queries and resolving workplace issues.
• Assist with recruitment processes and onboarding new staff members.
• Maintain and update employee records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to support business objectives.
• Advise on performance management and support managers with appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
• Collaborate with the HR team to deliver a consistent and efficient service.

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

• Experience in an HR role, preferably in an environment where policies are still being established.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Job Offer

• Salary between £38,000 and £42,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Enhanced pension scheme.
• Hybrid working, 1/2 days per week from home.
• An initial 12 month fixed term contract with a clear scope of responsibilities.
