Casanovas Recruitment Solutions is delighted to be representing a large, successful, and growing organisation that is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its expanding HR team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing a varied workload, and is confident handling multiple employee relations cases simultaneously. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both employees and managers while contributing to the ongoing development of HR processes and initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a wide range of Employee Relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary matters, performance management, capability issues, and absence management.
- Providing professional HR advice and guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Supporting the HR Manager with various HR projects and business initiatives.
- Reviewing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Monitoring employee training compliance and ensuring mandatory training records remain up to date.
- Building strong relationships with managers and supporting them with people-related matters.
- Liaising with Trade Unions and attending meetings when required.
- Assisting with HR audits and compliance activities.
- Supporting recruitment activities, including interviewing, onboarding, and inductions.
- Producing HR reports and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Assisting with workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
- Supporting employee engagement activities and wellbeing programmes.
- Contributing to continuous improvement projects within the HR function.
- Assisting with day-to-day HR administration when required.
- Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with current employment legislation and company policies.
About You
- Previous experience working within a HR Advisor or similar HR position.
- Strong Employee Relations experience with the ability to manage cases independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident supporting managers at all levels of the business.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD would be advantageous.
