Description

  • Provide expert advice on HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee relations, including handling grievances and disciplinary processes.
  • Support recruitment activities, including interviewing and onboarding.
  • Maintain and update HR records to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR projects and strategies.
  • Advise managers on performance management and staff development.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and organisational policies.
  • Produce reports and provide insights to support HR decision-making.

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar HR role within the Not for Profit sector or comparable environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing employee relations and HR processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.

Job Offer

  • Salary dependent on the level of experience, between £35,000 and £40,000.
